The only way I can win at this alone is to go to the top of the pillar, set up a save beacon, then fire on the first Sentinel, and then go to town on them. Save in between waves. Keep reloading. Put up a wall if you need to. But the Walkers can't jump that high and neither can the doggies, and what does come up that high is easy to kill.
